Covent Garden’s Café Pacifico is one of London’s very first Mexican Cantina restaurants and has been a long running favourite in this area of London for over 27 years now.
Housed in a building which was once used as a banana ripening warehouse, Café Pacifico is perfectly positioned close to Covent Garden’s tube station. The large open plan space is decked out in a retro Mexican style complete with traditional Mexican cantina style doors and colourful wall murals as well as a great long wooden bar.
The party atmosphere of this restaurant has ensured a loyal clientele over the years and good fun as well as delicious authentic food is guaranteed. The menu includes all the classic Mexican dishes such as fajitas, tacos and quesadillas as well as some rather more original offerings like the pan fried tortillas with chargrilled lobster tails, papaya, roasted peppers, chilli, feta and cheddar cheese in a mango cream sauce or fillet of beef with Caribbean jerk sauce. Lets not forget the drinks though, the margaritas are in a class of their own and the tequilas and rums are house specials.
