Chiswell Street Dining Rooms
56 Chiswell Street, London EC1Y 4SA
From the same team that operates The Gun in Docklands and The Botanist in Sloane Square, Tom & Ed Martin, comes The Chiswell Street Dining Room, a wonderfully stylish City of London restaurant and bar serving top notch British cuisine. Housed in the original home of the Whitbread Brewery on the corner of Milton and Chiswell Street, this superb restaurant and bar is open from early morning until late, serving a varied clientele of local city workers and visitors to the area. The dining room is a luxuriously decked out space in tones of green, gold and cream and the soft leather tub chairs and banquette seating make for a comfortable meal.
Heading up the Chiswell Street Dining Room kitchen is Head Chef Richard O’Connell, formerly of One Aldwych and The Groucho Club, who has created a champion British menu featuring both traditional and contemporary dishes such as Herefordshire snail and smoked bacon pie with a Guinness and mushroom sauce grilled whole Cornish lemon sole with dill butter and tenderstem broccoli and roast rump of West Devon lamb with lemon courgettes, potato gratin and rosemary jus. British cooking is truly at its best at the brilliant Chiswell Street Dining Room.
