Kaspar's at The Savoy
The Savoy, Strand, London WC2R 0EU
Kaspar's Seafood Bar and Grill can be found inside London's Savoy hotel on the Strand in central London. Formerly the River Restaurant, Kaspar's Seafood Bar and Grill is one of London's fine dining restaurants offering panoramic views of the River Thames and great landmarks of London. Perfectly situated in London's buzzing city centre, Charing Cross, Embankment, Covent Garden and Temple Stations are all only a short walk away.
Building on the rich history of London restaurants at The Savoy, the dining room has been restored to its former Art Deco glory, with original 1920's lighting, wood panelling, cut-glass mirroring and bright brass railings, silver leaf ceiling and chequer-board marble floor all reflecting the room's heritage. Transporting diners back to the jazz age the London restaurant's dazzling central oyster bar takes centre stage. London's seafood specialist and head chef James Pare leads the relaxed yet luxurious all day dining style and all dishes are plated and presented with grace.
An exceptional selection of fresh fish is on the restaurant menu – various Scottish smoked salmon, traditional gravlax, star anise cured salmon, whole smoked eel, hot smoked sable fish, beetroot cured halibut, citrus cured wild seabass and peppered monkfish. Roast spatchcock, lamb cutlets, fillet streaks and classic burgers come straight from the restaurant grill. In addition, all their bread is made fresh every day - the walnut and spelt bread, made in house is a must, served with their finest cheese selection.
So sit back to the roar of the twenties and soak up the vibe of The Savoy's most exciting London restaurant.
