Skylon

Located within the Royal Festival Hall, Skylon offers a spectacular panorama of London's skyline with floor to ceiling windows overlooking the River Thames.

Taking its name from the original iconic structure of the 1951 Festival of Britain, Skylon has been designed to echo the style of the refurbished Royal Festival Hall with contemporary touches added, such as uniquely designed chandeliers and surfaces of bronze, walnut and slate.

Skylon’s Executive Chef Adam Gray, describes his food as modern British – simple, honest and with a sometimes unusual twist on classic dishes. A carefully planned wine list spans the globe and includes some splendid English bottles, as well as a few 1950s reserve wines, inspired by Southbank Centre’s postwar origins. Booking is essential as this is one of London’s most talked about restaurants.
