Following a recent revamp by hot interior designer Martin Brudnizki, the legendary London restaurant The Rib Room Bar & Restaurant in the swanky Jumeirah Carlton Tower Hotel in Knightsbridge is again one of the hottest restaurants in town. Frequented by a long list of rich and famous clientele, The Rib Room Bar & Restaurant boasts a fabulous dining room and cocktail bar as well as two private dining rooms and a cigar terrace. At the helm of the kitchen is Michelin starred Head Chef Ian Rudge who has taken the Rib Room menu to new heights with his modern British cuisine based upon seasonality and provenance.
The signature Duke of Buccleuch Estate Aberdeen Angus rib of beef remains on the menu naturally, and other classics such the prawn cocktail have been brilliantly reinvented. Rudge has created a host of fabulous new modern British dishes to the menu including buttered native lobster tail with caramelised baby fennel, braised gem hearts and pear cider and caper crusted rack of Launceston lamb, neck curry and shallot compote with Jerusalem artichoke purée.
