aqua nueva is a stunning contemporary Spanish restaurant that forms part of the award winning Aqua London concept.
Located on the top floor of the former Dickens & Jones department store in Regent Street in the heart of London’s West End. Aqua London consists of 3 concept spaces within the same building, aqua nueva being one of them, hot Japanese restaurant aqua kyoto another and award winning bar aqua spirit the other.
Focusing upon refined, contemporary Spanish cuisine, the aqua nueva kitchen is over seen by Head Chef Alberto Hernandez, who trained under Spanish culinary legend Ferran Adria at superstar restaurant El Bulli. Hernandez has created a sublime al la carte menu featuring standout starters such as seared foie gras with roasted plum and beetroot salad and poached egg with porcini cream and black truffle whilst impressive mains include 24 hour marinated and braised oxtails with pumpkin puree and roasted wild turbot with anchovies and piquillo pepper vinaigrette. There is also a fantastic tapas menu which changes monthly to focus on each region of Spain. aqua nueva is a glamorous and very stylish dining destination in London with a sleek interior designed by Glamorous Co of Osaka and aqua restaurant group founder David Yeo.
Enter via the striking glass catwalk, pass the life like charging bull and enter a light filled dining room of creamy yellow and light wood textures featuring carved oak tables and traditional Spanish porcelain tiles. The 15,000 hand crafted wooden beads that hang from the ceiling are a real statement piece and the tapas bar is central to everything. aqua nueva also boasts the most spectacular roof terrace with more than 3000 square foot of space overlooking Regents Street and beyond.
